Privacy Policy
The contact form is the only part of this site that collects anything about you.
Last updated Aug. 14, 2026
The short version
We collect what you type into the contact form so we can answer you. Page counting only runs if you accept it, and we do not sell or rent contact details to anyone.
What the contact form collects
When you send a message through the form on the home page, we receive what you typed:
- Your first name, and your last name if you give one
- Your email address
- Your organization, if you give one
- The service you picked from the list, if you picked one
- Your message
First name, email and message are required. The rest is optional and the form works without it.
What gets recorded automatically
Along with the form itself, our server records the IP address the submission came from, the two-letter country code Cloudflare derives from that address, and the date and time. This is ordinary request data. We keep it so we can tell a real inquiry from automated traffic.
Why we have it
To read your message and answer it. We do not use it for advertising and we do not hand it to anyone marketing to you. If you become a client, it becomes part of the project correspondence.
Where it goes and how long it stays
- Email. The submission is emailed to Spencer Wood through Resend, an email delivery service.
- Backup copy. A copy is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV so a delivery failure does not lose your message. Each copy expires automatically two years after it arrives.
- Spencer's mailbox. After that, your message sits in his email like any other correspondence, for as long as the working relationship or the record needs.
Other companies in the path
A few other companies handle parts of your request on the way to us.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the form. Requests cross its network and appear in its standard logs.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a submission came from a person rather than a script.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, and only once you accept it.
- Resend delivers the notification email.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses. Loading any page here requests those files from Google's servers, so Google sees your IP address and browser details. This happens on every page, whether or not you ever touch the form.
Cookies and tracking
There is no Google Analytics and no advertising tag. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which loads only if you accept it. It uses no cookies, no device fingerprint and no cross-site identifier, so it cannot follow you to other sites or tell us who you are.
Your answer is kept in your browser under fcg-analytics-consent so the banner
stops asking. That entry never leaves your device, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
Cloudflare may set a cookie as part of Turnstile or its own security checks. Those are for abuse prevention.
Asking for your information, or its removal
Write to spencer.wood@foundationconsultantgroup.com and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, whatever state or country you live in, and we will not make you prove a legal right to ask first.
Children
This site sells consulting to government agencies and businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
